Surprised tanner didn’t go with mikheyev and I’m not even a leafs fan. The kid has surpassed all expectations so far which has resulted in him moving up the lineup and in a three way tie for 1st in rookie scoring. The only and while it’s a big advantage he has is that he’s 25 and victor olofsson he shares the tie with is 24. It’s that reason why I’m surprised that cale maker the third guy in that tie as a defenceman didn’t get any love here. Maybe his expectations were a lot higher than the others to begin with but if he can remain consistent he should be a Calder nominee by the end of the year

Makar definitely in the conversation... if they are close though, i think Quinn takes it since the Avs are a top 5 team in the league atm and the Nux... not so much. Also, I think the Nux depend more on Quinn than the Avs do on Makar...
